What time is check-in on Sunday?

Check-in is from 1:30-3:30 on Sunday afternoon. 
Please DO NOT arrive before 1:30, so that staff will have the opportunity to be prepared for the arrival of your camper.

Where does check-in take place?

Check-in will be at the mess hall deck on the right as you enter camp. 
Here, you will be placed in your cabin for the week and turn in your phone to the directors for safe keeping.
You will receive your MCC shirt.
You will also have the opportunity to purchase a SMBC shirt, canteen wristband, and SMBC sweatshirt, if you like

Where will my child be staying?

Your child will be placed in a cabin with his/her peers of the same gender and age/grade.
Once everyone has arrived, campers may ask to change cabins, BUT MAY ONLY DO SO WITH PERMISSION from the camp director.

Who will be watching over my child?

MCC camp, Weeks 1 and 2, is made up of a staff of over 100 adults - parents, preachers, youth ministers, and college students - designated to one or both of the weeks at camp.
Each cabin is staffed with 2 adults.
All adults have been back-ground checked for the express purpose of keeping all campers safe.

Are parents allowed to visit camp?

Yes, parents are allowed to visit camp, and we ask that ALL visitors comply with camp rules and dress-code during their visit.

Tuesday evening is a perfect time for you to join us for our sunset singing and time of worship.

Is there a camp nurse?

Yes. We will have on staff a dedicated nurse for the week, who will tend to any injuries/sicknesses that arise throughout the week. 
If your child has specific needs/medications that need to be administered, please be sure to communicate that to the directors and nurse at registration.

What time is check-out on Friday?

Camp officially ends after our closing devotional (led by our senior boys) and closing awards ceremony.

Parents are invited and welcome to join us for this at 9am, and take their children home at the end of our closing session.
